The Gift

The Value of Giving Feedback

Two people with flowing ideas, while a person struggles alone - showing the benefits of Improv training for businesses

Every team member brings a unique perspective and experience—an asset to both the organisation and their colleagues. But for these contributions to thrive, we need an environment where ideas are valued, accepted, and built upon.

That’s why we created ‘The Gift’, a two-part programme designed to foster an Idea Friendly Environment—where people feel safe to speak up, collaborate, and innovate together.

Ideas Are a Gift

Innovation doesn’t happen in a single flash of brilliance—it’s a series of sparks that grow through collaboration. But without the confidence to contribute, those sparks may never ignite.

To keep ideas flowing, we must shift from ‘listening to respond’ (which feeds the need to be right) to ‘listening to understand’ (which enriches and broadens our perspective).

How It Works

Session 1: The Power of Acceptance & Collaboration

We’ll explore:

✔ How ideas inspire and build upon each other

✔ The importance of a supportive team

✔ Understanding that failure can lead to inspiration

✔ When to let go of an idea and make space for others

Session 2: The Art of Giving & Receiving Feedback

This session dives into what makes us human—empathy and emotional intelligence—helping participants:

✔ Give feedback that inspires growth

✔ Receive feedback openly and productively

✔ Stay present, authentic, and aware of their own impact

Using real-life, in-the-moment scenarios, we’ll guide participants through ‘The Detour’—a dynamic exercise where they can pause, adjust, and refine their approach to feedback, experimenting with different strategies to maximise impact.

By the end of the programme, participants will leave with a new perspective on collaboration, communication, and feedback—one that drives innovation, strengthens relationships, and fosters creativity.

Because when feedback is seen as a gift, the whole team benefits.

What We Do

Our improv workshops offer a unique, experiential approach to professional development that goes beyond traditional training methods.

The power of improv lies in its ability to make learning stick. Our ‘show - don’t tell’ style means the lessons become more than theoretical—they're felt, experienced, and remembered. This approach not only helps break down silos and build stronger connections but also encourages a growth mindset that translates directly to the workplace.

With expert facilitators guiding the way, each session is tailored to your team's specific goals, ensuring practical takeaways that can be immediately applied in everyday business interactions.
