The Committee are a legendary seventies San Francisco improvisation troupe, whose players included the godfather of modern improv: Del Close. Many of the original members went on to found some of the world's most famous improv theatres: Second City, iO, and The Groundlings. Between them, they invented the long-form improv we know and love today. The Committee doing this show are a group of losers from the UK who chose the same name by accident, and own a domain name now so they can't change it. They've contributed nothing of note to the artform of improv, although many of their individual members are featured in some of your favourite TV and radio comedies - and even the recent Batman movie!

In this show The Committee announce their comeback on the improv scene, and rope in some of the funniest improvisers in the UK to help them out when things head south.

Expect thrills, spills, and potentially the conclusion of a long running legal action by surviving members of the original The Committee who are furious about the copyright infringement.

Online sales stop a half an hour before showtime - tickets will usually be available to purchase on the door.
